Enterprise Architecture Practices in the Context of Enterprise Digital Transformation
The course Enterprise Architecture Practices in the Context of Enterprise Digital Transformation provides students with an introduction to practical systemic approach for building and organizing digitalized enterprises.
Enterprise Architecture Practices introduce general overview of concept of Enterprise Architecture by describing and explaining Enterprise Architecture Process, Enterprise Architecture Artifacts, Enterprise Architecture Stakeholders and Enterprise Architecture Tools.
For the purpose of this course the Context of Enterprise Digital Transformation of enterprises is defined as:
· Digitalization of External Channels to suppliers, buyers and other stakeholders
· Digitalization of Internal Processes and their execution excellence
· Designing and implementing innovative digital business models which innovates how enterprises creates/extracts value from their products and services
Students will become familiar with the Enterprise Architecture Process and use of associated methods and software tool for creating and communicating Enterprise Architecture Artefacts.
A practical component of this course is a team-based case study project where students design Enterprise Architecture Process and its Artifacts. This practical experiential learning process empowers students to transform abstract concepts into tangible learning outcomes, while acquiring new enterprise architect competences, which will enable them to lead digital transformation of enterprises in practice.
